BALKANS: WORLD BANK – DOING BUSINESS 2017, OCTOBER 2016
The World Bank’s Annual Ranking of Doing Business (Doing Business 2017) which evaluates the performance of 190 countries worldwide on their ease of doing business has been published at the end of October 2016.
First place in the World Bank’s ranking on the ease of doing business goes to New Zealand, following by Singapore, Denmark, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, UK, USA, Sweden and FYROM in the 10th place.
Besides FYROM, is worth noticing the improvement of our neighbor Balkan countries with Albania in the 58th place compared to the 90th place in 2016, Romania in the 36th place and Bulgaria in the 39th place.
Finally, as pointed out by the World Bank, a record number of 137 countries have implemented comprehensive reforms facilitating the establishment and operation of small and medium size companies.
