20 YEARS SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GREEK BUSINESSES IN ALBANIA

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Association of Greek Businesses in Albania organized a celebratory evening on Monday, the 16^th of October at the Plaza Hotel in Tirana. The event gathered more than 100 guests: members and partners of the Association.

Honorary guests of the evening were the Ambassador of Greece in Tirana, Mrs. Konstantina Kamitsi and the Ambassador of Israel, Mrs. Galit Peleg, who during their greetings thanked for the invitation and conveyed messages of peace and unity.

The President of the Association, Mr. Denald George Tafani thanked the members and the administrative board for their efforts over the past two decades and expressed his desire for the Association to lead Greek entrepreneurship into a new era. He also expressed on behalf of the Administrative Board the solidarity of the Hellenic Business Association of Albania to the people of Israel. The Prime Minister of Greece Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis was not able to attend the event but he expressed, through a written text, his appreciation of the activity of the Association of Greek Businesses in Albania its contribution to the development of the Greek entrepreneurship in Albania, as well as the unreserved support of the Greek Government in its work.

The main sponsors of the event were ANTEA Cement Sh.A (Titan Group), Perparimi Steel, Raiffeisen Bank and Sideral (Sidenor Group). The Alehandro Group expressed its support and provided the wine of the event.

The event was not only a celebration of the Association’s rich history, but also provided an opportunity for its members and partners to exchange views on all current, business and non-business issues in a relaxed atmosphere. The 20th anniversary event included an excellent dinner, cake cutting and the launch of the Association’s new logo. A special evening that everyone wished to be repeated.
