Ceremony “Professor Klimis Navridis” Scholarships in Bucharest

After two years, due to Covid-19, the scholarship awarding ceremony at the University of Bucharest took place online, this year as before, in person at the hall of the University’s library.

Present, as always, the soul of the Department of New Greek Studies, the brilliant Hellenist professor Mr. Tudor Dinu, professors, students, representatives of the Greek-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce with the president Mr. Christos Seferis, as well as the Union of Romanian Greeks and of course the sponsors.

In a warm ceremony honored by the presence of the Ambassador of Greece Mrs. Sofia Grammata.

The ceremony began with the short speech of Professor Mr. Tudor Dinu, who also delivered a greeting from the former Dean of the School and Professor Mr. Liviu Franga, who has retired and lives outside of Bucharest.

This was followed by the Ambassador Mrs. Sofia Grammata, who congratulated the students for their excellent performance.

Mr. Efthimios Navridis awarded the scholarships to first-year students Filip and Radu, as well as to postgraduate Eliza Maria, who has been our scholarship student in the past.

In his brief speech, he congratulated the students, wishing them always and in everything they do to be the first, the best.
