CEREMONY “PROFESSOR KLIMIS NAVRIDIS” SCHOLARSHIPS IN BUCHAREST 2023
Again this year, on the 3rd of October 2023, took place The Scholarship Award Ceremony for the outstanding students of the Department “New Greek Studies” at the magnificent library of the University of Bucharest.
At the modest ceremony, Mr. Efthimios Navridis awarded the “PROFESSOR KLIMIS NAVRIDIS” scholarships to three outstanding students of the department. He congratulated the scholarship holders for their impressive academic performance and wished them a bright future while he also thanked the professor Mr. Tudor Dinu, because he was the person who spoke to him, eight years ago, about the Department “New Greek Studies” of the University and the need of supporting the outstanding students.
In remembrance of the day, he offered our scholars the book “MATOMENA CHOMATA” by the Greek litterateur, Dido Sotiriou.
The beautiful ceremony was honored with the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Kountouridis, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Greek Embassy Mr. Konstantinos Kattoulas, as well as the President of the Greek-Romanian chamber of commerce Mr. Christodoulos Seferis. Also, our secretary Artemis Lontos -our former scholar and graduate of the department- was awarded as a postgraduate student by “Fatrom” Company.
