OUR FIRM’S SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY, BUCHAREST, 4.10.2016

For the second consecutive year, our firm has been the scholarship provider for the students of Modern Greek Studies at the Bucharest University.

As Mr. Efthymios Navridis has been consistent to his promise given last year at the start of the courses, when he offered a scholarship for the first time in the name of: ‘’Professor Klimis Navridis’’, this year he honored three distinguished students of the Modern Greek Studies Department with equal scholarships of our company, during a moderate, as always, ceremony, that took place on October 4th 2016.

In his short speech, Mr. Navridis congratulated the students and scholars and promised that our firm will support the excellent students rewarding every effort they make. Further, he thanked the Dean of the University, Mr. Liviu Franga, the President of the Department of Modern Greek Studies, Mrs. Ana Christina Halichias and the Professor of the Modern Greek Studies, Mr. Tudor Dinu for their excellent work and for giving the donators the opportunity to participate on this.

Mr Navridis offered a selection of poems of Konstantinos Kavafis to each scholar, as memorabilia.

The simple ceremony, that took place in the impressive hall of the University’s Library, was attended by the Ambassador of Cyprus Mr. Dimitrios Chatziargyrou, the first Advisor Mr. Evangelos Tournakis who represented the Greek Ambassador Mr. Vassilios Papadopoulos, as well as the Consul Mrs. Sofia Kantara.
