INFORMATION ON FOREIGN COMPANIES ACTIVE IN IMPORTS AND DISTRIBUTION SERVICES BY COUNTRY AND SECTOR, MAY 2016

The General Secretariat of International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation announced that the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with ICAP SA, utilizing the KOMPASS data base, published in the AGORA web page (www.agora.mfa.gr) lists with information of foreign companies in the main destination countries of Greek exports, active in import trade and distribution of products.

More specifically, data for about 7.000 companies in 30-40 countries that constitute the most important trade partners for the main Greek exports has been published. The criteria for the choice of sectors were their export record, as well as, the interest of Greek businessmen, been expressed via inquiries submitted to the Offices for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the local Greek Embassies. (These products included among others, fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, soft drinks, spirits, sea food, dairy products, nuts, honey, chocolate products, organic products, fertilizer, Gas, liquid or electricity supply and production meters, toys, beauty products, packaging material, tobacco, clothing, textiles, marble, limestone and other stones, crockery, household and home economy items, articles of personal hygiene and cosmetics, lifts, solar panels, water heaters etc.

Through these lists Greek companies will be able to promote Greek quality products with high taste and nutritional value.
