GREEK EXPORT OUTLOOK BY COUNTRY AND PRODUCT, 2013-2015, A΄ 5MONTH PERIOD 2015-2016

Within the framework of economic diplomacy activities for 2016, and in order to support outward-looking of Greek companies and inform/support the Greek exporters regarding the formulation of their export policy by country/product, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently processed and published data from international data bases analyzing the structure of import trade initially for 15 countries by sector. These data appear on the Ministry’s website at

For a more precise and comprehensive picture of the Greek exports by country/product, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has  also published a new study by processing data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority regarding the outlook of Greek exports for 2013, 2014, 2015 as well as the A΄5month period of 2015 and 2016.

The scope of this study which is published on the website

http://www.agora.mfa.gr/frontoffice/portal.asp?cpage=RESOURCE&cresrc=1431&cnode=115, is to record the outlook of Greek exports by country (102 countries are included) and by product (in a four digit code) in a sample of 48   important markets for Greek products       

Specifically, the study includes:

1) Tables with the value of Greek exports by country (103 countries are included – accounting for exports exceeding 5 mil € -) for the above stated time periods, increase/decrease export percentages of total Greek exports by country

2) Tables with the main export products by a 4digit code in all 103 countries accounting for 98% of the value of Greek exports, by region, country’s position in the ranking of destination countries for Greek exports, total value by product code, percentage of the highest value product by total exports by country, percentage of all export products by country by total value, and total value of exports by country
