GREAT WINES
On the 19th and 20th of June, the Greek Embassy in Tirana organized the “GREAT WINES” event at the famous Plaza Hotel Tirana in the center of the Albanian capital. The purpose of the event was to promote Greek wines in the Albanian market.
The great sponsor of the two-day successful event was our law firm, which warmly supports any action that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship.
For this event , was organized a very successful journalistic mission, consisted of well-known journalists invited by our law firm. Immediately after their arrival in the Albanian capital, the journalists had the opportunity to be welcomed by the active Ambassador, Mrs. Eleni Souranni and to receive a tour to the new building , where the Greek Embassy is housed.
The event started with the very interesting workshop – wine tasting and B2B Meeting, during which the guests learned many interesting things from the oenologist Mrs. Chrysa Giatra. A dinner followed, where the guests had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious plates of the famous Greek chef Mr. Sotiris Evangelos ,who traveled exclusively for this purpose.
There followed a party ,under the sounds of a Greek folk orchestra, which also traveled for the same purpose. The next day, our guests had the chance to visit the Cathedral and Chapel and to enjoy ,also, a tour from our great compatriot painter, Christos Papanikolaou, who is the hagiograper of both the Chapel and the Cathedral. Immediately after that, the guests visited the Archbishop of Albania, Mr Anastasios, with whom they had a very warm conversation, which – as one of our guests has said – will remain in their memory forever.
Our guests returned to Greece with the best impressions.
