2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony “Professor Vassos Karageorgiou” in Tirana
In a warm and pretty touching ceremony held on November 19, 2025, at the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of Tirana, EGNA Law awarded for one more year the three annual academic scholarships “Professor Vassos Karageorgiou” to students of the Department of Greek Language.
This year’s scholars — Anastasia, Errika, and Aimilia — were honored for their academic performance, dedication to learning, and contribution to the academic community. This initiative is now an established statute for EGNA Law and reflects the firm’s constant commitment to empowering young people who choose the Greek language and culture as their field of study.
The event was honored by the presence of the Ambassador of Greece to Albania, Ms. Constantina Kamitsi, distinguished academics, as well as representatives of the Hellenic Business Association of Albania (HBAA). The Ambassador underlined the significant role of educational cooperation between Greece and Albania as a stable pillar of cultural and academic convergence.
During the ceremony, a special honorary distinction was awarded to Mr. Efthymios Navridis, founder of EGNA Law Firm, for his long-standing and continuous contribution to the scholarship program, as well as for the decisive support he provides to students through the “Professor Vassos Karageorghis” program of scholarships.
Special reference should be made to the event’s “hostess,” Ms. Sofia Deligiorgi, Director of the Department of Greek Language, for her dedication and great work in the academic development of the Department. The care and iblameless appearance of all the University facilities were a pleasant surprise for all attendees.
Through these scholarships, EGNA Law continues to invest in education, language and the new generation, contributing substantially to the strengthening of ties between the two countries and the promotion of excellence.
