SCHLARSHIPS “PROFESSOR VASSOS KARAGEORGIOS” GRANTING CEREMONY, IN TIRANA 2024
On October 17 2024, the scholarship award ceremony of the department “Modern Greek Language” took place at the great hall of “University of Tirana’s” library.
As in previous years, we are also this year sponsoring scholarships to three excellent students of this department.
In the scholarships we offer at the University of Tirana, Mr. Navridis has given the name of the great professor who had the great fortune to be his student at the Filothei High School, of the late Vassos Karageorgiou.
The Greek Ambassador of Albania, Mrs. Konstantina Kamitsi and also the Vice President of the Union of Greek Companies in Albania, honored the ceremony with their presence.
Mr. Navridis wanting to comply with the custom, donated to our scholars a collection of poems by Konstantinos Kavafis, while the Dean of the university, Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha, offered to the Greek Ambassador and to Mr. Navridis a very remarkable and distinctive gift.
